Shimano MTB Grand Prix | NSW Race 6 Nowra

This Shimano MTB GP will take you to the Coondoo State Forest MTB trails in Nowra near Jervis Bay. It is a 4 and 6 hour cross-country race on a 9km loop for solo and relay pair classifications across all age groups.

The Coondoo trails at Nowra are such a treat and massive kudos to the local South Coast United MTB Inc. club for restoring these amazing trails after the bushfires in 2019-20! The race track we picked truly adds to the variety of trails we have in the whole series – seriously fast and we can’t wait to see this year’s finish sprints. In the past 4 hour solo racers have absolutely smashed themselves, which provided for such an exciting racing atmosphere! The team racers will enjoy each lap and you’ll find this is a track where you can really dial those lines, each lap is more fun than the previous one… until the legs start screaming that is.
If you haven’t raced a Shimano MTB GP and you are about to have you’re first #rockytrailracer experience… it won’t be your last, we’re sure!

From the first time between the tape to people that have spent a lifetime training for power output, we have you covered when you line up at the Rocky Trail start line!

Race for four (GP4) or - new in 2021! - six (GP6) hours solo or in relay pairs. There are age-group and eBike categories. Expect less of a winners-only-focused competition, but a positive and inclusive experience for all racers. Podium chasers line up with Australia’s elites and experienced amateur endurance racers plus casual racers will have a blast!
