An event of a tough and rewarding adventure challenge with a paddle - run - ride through spectacular coastal landscapes of the Camden Haven on the Mid North Coast of NSW. (Just 30 minutes south of Port Macquarie).
The Laurieton Multisport Challenge is an off-road adventure challenge, frequenting areas of National Park, State Forest and Crown Land to give competitors the ultimate outdoor experience. It's all about putting in on the day that counts.
If you love the outdoors have a genuine passion for fun and adventure and want to push yourself to new limits this is the event for you.
The Course
The Full Course will consist of all 6 legs, and Short Course starts at Leg 3
Leg 1
Start at Queens Lake Sailing Club and paddle 6km across the lake and along Herons Creek to the transition station at the Herons Creek Vineyard, Roseneath Road Bobs Creek.
Leg 2
Paddle to shore at Herons Creek Vineyard, Roseneath Road Bobs Creek and run 8.9km to the Wizard Car Park Jolly Nose at the Hastings Valley Mountain Bike track on Spring Creek Road.
Leg 3
12km bike ride along the tracks of Hastings Valley Mountain Bike Trail.
Leg 4
Run back to Herons Creek Vineyard 8.9km.
Leg 5
Paddle from the Vineyard transition station along Herons Creek and Queenslake to come ashore at Queenslake Sailing Club.
Leg 6
Run 3.2km along Queenslake Trail to the Finish Line at Henry Kendall Reseerve.
