Based out of the city of Whyalla, South Australia, competitors must navigate their way in teams of two (2) around a course over various stages (including paddling, mountain biking and trekking) to find as many checkpoints/controls as possible in the shortest amount of time. To cater for participants of all ages and abilities there are three different events to choose from on the day from the Short Wararda entry level, easy to navigate 2-3hr event up to the Full Wararda 8-13hr event where most participants could still be out after dark. In addition to all the standard adventure race provisions, all events include a surprise adventure challenge, kayak hire, live tracking and a serving of mum's home cooked lasagne!
