Shimano Grand Prix mountain bike racing is all about the thrill of the climb and the rush of the descents.
This event brings back classic lap racing to Haunted Hills MTB Park with a set of distance challenges on a short-course circuit: Hero (long), Adventure (medium) and Challenge (short).
The race offers solo and relay pairs racing in a lap-based DISTANCE challenge that is completely tailored to this particular race track we’re on. The classifications will be approximately 75km (Hero), 50kms (Adventure) and 25kms (Challenge).
The races have Age Group categories for solos and pairs teams across the distance challenges. There will also be four specialty Awards including KOM/QOM, Fastest Lap times for adults and juniors as well as GC Titles for the Male and Female Heroes. eBikes are welcome.
Get a taste for mountain bike racing or challenge yourself to new personal bests! The classifications are designed to be not all about fitness, but reward overall bike skills and determination to make it a fun day out on rocky trails. The Hero categories will put your endurance and stamina to the test!
