Maui show debuts this weekend in U.S.

The one-hour television broadcast of the 2017 XTERRA World Championship makes its national syndication debut this Saturday, January 20th, with airings in Pittsburgh, PA (3pm on ABC); Austin, TX (2pm on CW); and Monroe, LA (11am on FOX).

It’s the 22nd straight year XTERRA TV has captured off-road triathlon’s greatest day with cinematography from Maui that showcases what a truly epic race it is.

The broadcast features interviews with the elites as well as coverage of the race from helicopters, the back of motorbikes, and from wave-washed jet skis.  Filmed on location in Kapalua, Maui on October 29, 2017, the show provides an up-close look at athletes battling the ocean chop, gutting it up to Razor Ridge, and getting punished by the heat.

Watch and witness the charm, courage, and grace of world-class athletes, from Flora Duffy finessing her way down from Razor Ridge to Paco Serrano using his broken shifter like a remote control.

The show continues its run across the country on Sunday, January 21st, with airings in Orlando, FL (5pm on ABC); Fresno, CA (1pm on ABC); and Medford, OR (1pm on ABC), and will ultimately be seen by more than six million viewers via U.S. syndication on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, the Fox Sports Network, ESPN International, and European distribution.

In addition, the award-winning XTERRA Adventures TV series, and past XTERRA USA and World Championship broadcasts are available on-demand with a subscription on Amazon video.

The current broadcast schedule can be found at xterraplanet.com/television.
