Goldfields MultiSport Festival Entry Opening Temporarily on Hold

BENDIGO  Entries for the Goldfields MultiSport Festival on 20th and 21st November 2021 are currently on hold as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation throughout the country.

TreX and Trail Run Australia Goldfields entries were due to open on the 10th and 12th of August, however, we have made the decision to delay the opening of entries as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Victoria and throughout the country.

As always, the health, safety and wellbeing of our athletes is always at the forefront of the actions we take.  Currently, lockdowns are in place in many states including Victoria and the situation has proved incredibly unpredictable and continues to change on a daily basis.  We fully understand the significant impact that having to reschedule or cancel an event at short notice can have on athletes, our partners and our providers, so for now we are taking a cautious approach and will continue to monitor the situation closely both in Victoria and other states.

This does not mean the Goldfields MultiSport Festival will not go ahead, but rather that we will delay the opening of entries until there is a greater degree of certainty that the event will be able to be hosted in a safe and appropriate environment.

We cant know the future for certain, the most we can do is to make informed decisions based on the information available to us now, in the best interest of all involved.

We truly hope that this latest outbreak will be able to be contained and managed.  In the meantime we will be working hard behind the scenes to ensure that if an event can be hosted safely and with greater certainty in Bendigo that it will go ahead and we can all get back to enjoying the off road events we love.

We know that the future is very uncertain and in the big scheme of things, there are a lot of things that are much more important than a sporting event, especially the health and wellbeing of everyone in our community, however, we will continue to move forward with a positive outlook and keep you updated about the status of the festival moving forward.
