Raffertys Coastal Run 2025 brought the magic once again! Thank you for being part of it!

We had a fantastic mix of trail lovers on course this year, lots of fresh faces taking on their first Raffertys Coastal Run, and plenty of returning runners who just cant get enough of this epic coastal trail. The atmosphere was buzzing from start to finish.

The lead up to race day had us all watching the forecast closely, as wild winds and heavy rain swept across the coast. But come Saturday, the weather mellowed, sunshine, blue skies, and just the right amount of breeze to keep things cool on course, near perfect running conditions!

From sandy fire trails to twisting singletrack and rocky coastline, the course threw up the usual mix of challenge and reward. Every single one of you earned that finish line moment, a huge congratulations on your run.

And now, to the podium&

In the 12km event, James Starkey (51:19) and Alice Keeler (58:27) were first across the line. In the 22km event the winners were Monika Ludriks (1:48:19) and David Bailey (1:32:53). And for the 36km race overall winners were James Paterson (2:44:38) and Chelsea Dyer (3:07:43).

We cant forget the speedsters of the future! Our Kids Fun Run was a highlight once again, with a pack of speedy little legends sprinting around the resort, high-fiving volunteers, and soaking up the race day fun.

The crew from Outer Image Collective were busy all day on course and at the event centre recording the action – so don’t forget to check out and purchase your official race images. Photos are sorted by your race number but be sure to check to ‘no number’ folder too for any missing images.

We would like to give a huge shout out to the over 40 volunteers who helped out on the day. Your energy, encouragement and hard work helped us to deliver a fun, smooth and safe event.

A big thanks to Raffertys Resort for hosting us once again on their gorgeous lakefront lawns, its hard to imagine a more scenic event hub. We’re proud to partner with such a beautiful venue.
