The 20th instalment of the Convict 100 is coming!
The Convict 100 is one of the longest running MTB marathons in Australia and theres a reason its stood the test of time! Savagely difficult, wildly fun, ungroomed and outrageous, this ride is not one to miss.
Be part of the atmosphere as hundreds of riders roll under the start arch in sleepy St Albans and get ready for the trials and triumph of the trails that lay ahead. Its one epic journey from valley floor to lofty ridgeline and back. Youll ride through kilometres of history on the Convict trail built between 1826 and 1836, by Australias earliest incarcerated individuals.
Farm road, fire trail, loosely defined single track, rock gardens, and if you are lucky maybe even a crazy camel (consider yourself warned!) this ride has it all.
With 48km, 67km and 100km courses on offer theres something to suit any MTB bandit that is game.
It’s not just the riding that attracts the crowds every year, it’s the buzz as you arrive in town on Friday afternoon, pitch your tent and start your campfire. It’s the camaraderie of being surrounded by like-minded individuals, all keen to show off their flash new set of wheels, it’s the nerves as you line up on the chilly start line with the hills shrouded in mist and it’s the sense of accomplishment at the finish line having achieved something truly special.
Entries are now open, don’t miss your chance to register and be part of the legacy of the Convict 100 on Saturday May 2nd, 2026.
