Entries are now open for the next NSW event in the 2026 Max Adventure Race Series. Whether you’re an experienced racer or new to the sport, this event promises an unforgettable day of adventure.
The Royal National Park offers everything an adventure racer could want. Teams will kayak along the Hacking River, navigating through the early morning mist and picking up checkpoints along the way. Once back on land, the run sections weave through some of the parks most scenic and well-loved tracks and the continued development of the mountain bike trails in the park present new and exciting course options for all teams. Riders can expect smooth, flowing trails that are packed with fun but challenging enough to keep things interesting but not overly technical.
The longer and more challenging Classic Course will feature some fast and furious racing among the leading teams, but remains achievable for all. If you have done the Novice Course before now might be the time to step up in distance!
If you are new to the sport of adventure racing, the Novice course is designed just for you. A detailed briefing and tips and tricks session with the Race Director before the start will ensure you and your teammate are well prepared for an unforgettable day.
