In 2011 the Summer Dash will be a series event to showcase the spectacle of olympic class 200m sprint racing. All paddlers are encouraged to join with friends and make it down to showcase the sport to the general public. The idea behind the 2011 event, much like the 2010 event was to gather all interested paddlers and their families for a fun frolic in the water, before relaxing by the picturesque Swan River at The Royal on the waterfront enjoying the Summer evening! But in 2011 the addition of Champion Lakes will bring another element to the racing program with su=tructured lanes and timing systems to ensure times are accurate for paddlers.
