Crater lakes region in Western Victoria is often over looked with the Grampians to it's north and the Otways to it's south. Lake Bullen Merri is formed by 3 volcanoes, creating a massive crater and making the deepest lake in Victoria. The event starts with a paddle around the lake, then an undulating 2 lap cycling circuit surrounding the lake and finishing with a run around the lakes perimeter.
