Whyalla Carnival Weekend: Mt Laura Hills MTBO

The Mt Laura Hills map offers undulating hills in the reserve immediately to the north of the city. A selection of courses will be available as a warm-up. Strong features of creeks, gullies, pockets of moderate to heavy vegetation. There are sections with an extensive network of tracks, which can help with navigation. Although the map is set up for foot Orienteers, the abundant tracks and a range of ‘on track’ control points, will provide an opportunity for mountain bike pundits to have a spin with a course set up especially for them.
