Canoe & Kayak Rodney Coast Challenge

The Canoe & Kayak Rodney Coast Challenge (RCC) is an yearly event run by the Kaukapakapa Scout group as a fund raiser

The RCC is a well known event on the multi-sport calendar and almost everyone can do it. Many athletes use this race as a warm-up as it is one of the first races of the season

The event averages 480+ participants per year, and 2008 saw us get 535 entrants. Our best year ever

The event is located North of Auckland, starting at Muriwai and finishing at Wenderholm Park. The event involves a 10km forest run, 30km road cycle, 24km mountain bike, 8km kayak, and a 150m run to the finish
