Battle of Barwon Heads

The Go Natural Ocean Series comprises four thrilling downwind paddling races at stunning locations along the Victorian coast. Races range from short, but sharp, six-kilometre hit-outs for beginners, SUP paddlers and paddleboarders, to epic 20-plus kilometre open ocean marathons for the daring ski and outrigger guys and gals.

The marquee event of the series is the 25-kilometre Graeme Long Memorial Race, from Urquhart's Bluff to Torquay, taking in the the iconic towering cliffs of Bell's Beach and Winkipop. This event attracts some of the best ocean paddlers in the country, so be prepared to paddle your heart out.

But don't worry if you're not a pro. With long and short course options, plus plenty of water safety on the day, paddlers of all abilities are invited to get wet. Find out what happens when the wind, swell and scenery all turn it on at once!
