Augusta - the name is almost as synonymous with adventure racing as Anaconda these days, such is the big reputation of this leg of the Anaconda Adventure Race National Series. So big that it's now roundly recognised as the World's (yes, people, the world's) largest adventure race. Some would argue it's also the best - the large competitor field and huge crowds creating an electric adventure race atmosphere like no other.

The course is spectacular - how could it not be in this part of the world, reknowned as it is for coastlines that will blow your mind as much as the racing will blow your lungs.
