It begins at the Pipeline Bridge across the Shotover River and ends at the Ben Lomond Station woolshed at Moke Lake. The route initially follows the Shotover River, past old gold dredging equipment, and continues to follow water races above Stoney and Murphy’s Creeks. The route then follows farm tracks above the Moonlight River and Moke Creek to the Ben Lomond Woolshed, taking in beautiful beech forests, stunning mountain buffs, cliff tops and ridgelines as well as open grassland, with 360º panoramic mountain views. The course traverses the home of 3500 superfine merino wethers, and you will follow the route they take each spring to be shorn…

The entire event takes place on the private Ben Lomond High Country Station which is not normally accessible to the public.

This exciting new event will also incorporate a 5km, 10km and ½ Marathon Trail Run. Something for all the family…
