2012 Pig & Whistle Tour de Whaka

A new format on the mountain biking calendar in New Zealand - the Pig and Whistle Tour de Whaka. Four races over two days with your total time counting towards your final result. A proper mountain bike stage race, transferring road stage racing format into the MTB arena.

Our aim is to find the best all round mountain bike rider in New Zealand - combining most features of mountain bike racing: Hill climb, Super D, XC and a time trial. This event will test your strength, endurance and bike handling skills to their limit.

Held in Whakarewarewa Forest the Tour de Whaka takes in the best it can offer. You will not be disappointed.
