The Kanangra Classic is a great weekend of outdoor recreation held in the beautiful Kanangra Boyd National Park. Located just 146km west of Penrith and approx 30 minutes from the Oberon township the Kanangra Boyd National Park is an iconic part of the greater Blue Mountains.
The Classic weekend consists of a few different events which all start and finish at Jensens Farm just a few hundred metres from Boyd River Camp Ground and well into the beautiful Kanangra Boyd National Park.
The events:
Saturday – The Kanangra 50 Trail Ultra - a 50km trail run.
Saturday – The Kanangra 50 Trail Ultra Relay – 33km & 17km relay event
Saturday: Kanangra Burn - a Prologue Ride – 24km Mountain Bike Ride
Sunday: Kanangra Classic - 50km or 100km Mountain Bike Enduro
Saturday & Sunday - Kanangra Challenge - A split day dualthon for those who like pain! The challenge takes the best time from the Trail Ultra on Saturday and the fastest 50km MtB on the sunday and combines them for a Duathlon time…
There is ample camping onsite and plenty of great places to stay in the nearby township of Oberon or at Caves House at Jenolan Caves.
