8hr Upside Down

Calling all Adventure Racers for the 2009 RACE HQ "Old Hidden Flag" Upside Down Rogaine. This year's event is set to be staged at Old Hidden Vale via Grandchester, just an hour's drive west of Brisbane on October 10th-11th. Only a week before the iconic Hells Bells Adventure Race, this 8 hour event is the perfect opportunity to get a last big training session in with your team, practice your night navigation and work out the final kinks in your lighting, nutrition, hydration and other apparel. The course as been set and it's a corker. The area is generally open, undulating farmland great for moving quickly in the dark, with some trickier, hilly terrain on the western extremities for fast teams moving well. With plenty of points up for grabs, as always, strategy will play an important role.
