The Stan Bisset Cup is a 96KM Trek, The actual distance of the Kokoda track in Papua New Guinea.
This high school only competition allows students to step out alongside thousands of adult competitors for the massive walk through the tropical surrounds of the Gold Coast Hinterland. The average high school team will take between 28 and 34 hours to get their team to the finish line.
Sadly the namesake for this Challenge, Kokoda veteran and hero Stan Bisset, passed away in October 2010. Stan was an inspiration to all of our staff, volunteers and importantly the young people involved within the organisation.
