The Bare Creek Trail Run offers a challenging experience for both professional and amateur runners while also allowing children and families to participate in a professionally run community event, that is both fun and healthy. The run will be held on Sunday November 17th and it weaves its way through the picturesque fire trails of the Garigal National Park in Northern Sydney.
In 2012 the run attracted local media promotion and editorial comment that focused on the unique nature of the run, which took participants through creeks and beautiful natural trails.
The event comprises two different challenges:
• The 6km family walk/run – a great introduction to trail running/walking for adults and children of all standards of fitness; and
• The 10km run – a run that provides a challenge for new or seasoned runners.
