The 5th Vibram Tarawera Ultramarathon is on 15 March, 2014. An adventure, an endurance event, a 100km-long scenic buffet. The Vibram Tarawera Ultra is a 100, 85 or 60km trail ultra. distance run from Rotorua to Kawerau, New Zealand. Along way you'll pass through exotic forestry, native bush, lakes, waterfalls and follow a beautiful river. Most of the run is on single track trails or forestry roads. You can compete as a solo athlete or in a relay team. There will be buffet aid stations, drop bags, pacers, spot prizes and free hotpools. You'll get to share the trails with an international field of athletes.
