Cataract Gorge Challenge

The Launceston eye institute cataract gorge challenge is designed to inspire those who have never entered an event of this nature, as well as those who have previously participated in multi-sport events. It is aimed at a range of ages and abilities to encourage more participants.

The challenge will be divided into five ‘legs’ reflecting a ‘pentathlon-style’ format. Different start times for each leg will enable competitors to enter as many, or as few as they feel comfortable.
All legs will start and finish in the First Basin of the Cataract Gorge creating a spectacle for supporters and onlookers, encouraging them to linger and enjoy the atmosphere of this unique destination.
