Expert - Intermediate - Beginner: everyone can join in on the fun!
NQ Ocean Paddle Series offers an opportunity for paddle enthusiasts to get a little competitive while exploring the wonders of North Queensland's oceanic waters. We have five events of varying distances and paddle styles in the Townsville/Magnetic Island region to suit a range of different skills and fitness levels. Each race offers a short and long course to cater for expert, intermediate and beginner paddlers.
Race1: Battle the Barge
Paddle lovers get to hit the waters of the beautiful Townsville & Magnetic Island as they Battle the Townsville Barge to the Magnetic Island and back. This race is jam packed full of suspense and excitement as paddlers give it all they got to show we can overcome machine!
Short course available for intermediates and beginners.
