The Golden Road Rogaine
Organised by Bob Cunninghame and team, there will be a 13-hour “Classic”, a 6-hour “Introduction” and a 3-hour “Family Special”. The terrain, west of Waikouaiti and about an hour’s drive from Dunedin, is "interesting country" – relatively open farmland and tussock with rocks and scrub in places, plus some forest blocks. Some valleys are steep sided but reasonable routes that minimise the ups and downs are possible. Mark the Golden Road in your calendar now. More information closer to the event.
