Dare to go the distance. 50km. 100km. 100 miles.

The event takes its name from
South Australian 20th century explorer, Sir Hubert Wilkins, who
is famous for quoting "adventure
is just a word used to disguise a series of unplanned surprises".
Create your own adventure
in the Flinders Ranges as you
take on this, the only 100 mile
desert footrace in Australia.

Runners from across Australia
will converge on the Flinders Ranges in the South Australian outback on
3-4 May 2014 for the inaugural Hubert 100 mile running race.

The event, which also consists
of 100km and 50km options,
will start near the tiny town of Parachilna, the gateway to the northern Flinders Ranges. The
Hubert 100 will take you along the Heysen Trail through the magical Flinders Ranges, finishing near the township of Hawker. It is the longest measured footrace in South Australia and Australia's only 100 mile desert event. All events will start at the same spot near Parachilna.
