This year we head to Albany for a 3hr challenge around the rugged coastline of Albany. Here we will check out the beautiful coastal terrain around event sponsor Discovery Bay's great tourist attraction of Whale World and their new botanic gardens. Enjoy sheltered ocean and/or harbour paddling, a variety of cycling surfaces and explore on foot some interesting, scenic and historical terrain.
The Albany course will include approximately 6km of paddling, 20km of MTB and 6km of trekking/running broken into between 3 and 6 stages with an anticipated winning time of under 3 hours. Optional checkpoints will allow the gung-ho racers to do some extra distance and contours.
