A chance to escape the Christmas rat race and enjoy an adventure respite before the mayhem of Christmas, Seasons of Pain is set to return bigger than ever for its Spring duathlon on Saturday, 13th December. The Spring edition of Mount Baw Baw’s multisport adventure race series offers three different courses for all ages and fitness levels. The off-road mountain biking and trail running adventure can be enjoyed by all in one of Victoria’s most beautiful locations, only two-and-a-half hours drive from Melbourne.

Since its inception in 2012, Seasons of Pain has been a favourite for adventure sport enthusiasts with athletes making the trip to Mount Baw Baw as a yearly ritual for their adventure fix.

Entrants of the Enduro course, covering approximately 30km of terrain, will challenge themselves to a 12.5km trail run, 14km mountain bike leg and a 4km ‘Sting, the final spring to the finish.

For the first time, the Spring event will offer two new courses, catering to families and lower levels of fitness. Entry for all three courses is open to both individuals and pairs. For parents or beginners, the Sprint course consists of a 5km trail run followed by a 5km mountain bike leg, ending with a 4km Sting. Kids can participate in a challenging and fun course with a 1km trail run, 2km mountain bike and 400m Sting. Entry for kids is free with each adult entry, and each child will receive a participation medal.

This is the last in this years series, check out the website for some videos and articles on the previous seasons.
