The inaugural Marlborough Mountain Bike Cross Country Epic in February 2014 was rated a success and returns in 2015 in the same locality but with different routes and format.
The Maxwell Pass and surrounds terrain is medium to steep hill country on four wheel drive tracks or across paddocks with long stiff climbs, long descents and everything in between. Best suited to a mountain bike.
