The most fun you can have on 2 wheels – join us for the 2015 Mountain Bike Orienteering event hosted by Far North Orienteering
What’s it all about?
Far North Orienteering are hosting a Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO) event in the semi urban setting on tracks and trails.
Our emphasis is on enjoying a fun day on the bike – be as competitive or social as you like.
There will be 3 courses on offer:
Approx 7km perfect for the kids;
Approx 14km ,
Approx 21km.
This event is open to everyone, mums, dads, children, families, MTB club riders, elite athletes, adventure racers – you can compete solo or as a group in the social class.
There will be experienced people on hand at this event to assist and instruct newcomers. All you need to participate is a bike, and a helmet (and compass if you have one). A map board would make your ride more enjoyable.
