Race the Mountain Bike endurance series that rocks!
Round five will take you to The Australian Botanic Garden, Mt Annan near Campbelltown and its unique 10 kilometre Mountain Bike trail network. Located only one hour south of Sydney, this challenging custom built trail will have you ride into single trail and berm-heaven! It's home of Rocky Trail's JetBlack 24 Hour race in November also, so this event is the perfect opportunity to check out the trails and find your best lines.
Racing options
We will again bring you the popular 4-hour “FAST” and the “FURIOUS” 7-hour racing options across all five series races. Race “fast” for half a day or “furiously” for a full day, but have a little bit more time to pack up and get home safely.
FAST GP – the popular 4 Hour endurance race if you only have time for or want to spend half the day on your bike.
FURIOUS GP – 7 Hour race duration for all the endurance enthusiasts out there.
Other Info
Great for spectators to see the mountain bike racing action up close, the Shimano MTB GP is also hosting the official JetBlack NSW/ACT Bike Shop Trophy – customers and bike shop staff can ride for a designated bike shop and go into an additional ranking over the entire series.
With kids races and activities offered everyone will enjoy a great day out. There are huge meadows with lush grass, walking paths and shelters right near the event centre. There are great vantage points to see the racing action! A great restaurant/cafe is located near the visitor centre in the garden, right next to a big playground also.
