Have you seen the amazing race on TV? Wanted to give it a go? Why not join 300+ others in a race around the Brisbane CBD on a balmy summer evening. The 11th annual City Raid race will be back in 2017 bigger and better than ever. Based out of the Brisbane CBD.
We call it an Urban Adventure Race and its’ part of our Urban Adventure Series
What is City Raid?
This race involves running/walking around the CBD. It also involves the use of public trains / ferries and include some “urban challenges”.
The event is “rogaine-style” which means you collect as many checkpoints as you can, in ANY order, within the three hours. To test your strategy though, each checkpoint is assigned a value. Obviously more difficult challenges are worth more points.
This race has a lot of decision-making – this isn’t a straight test of the fittest.
Good team work, strategy, charisma and a sense of humour will be fundamental to getting through the race.
The race will start and finish at HQ.
