Marathon course - starting at Huka Falls follow the track to Aratiatia Dam, return to Huka Falls along track on the other side of the river. Continue along Huka Falls Road passing through Taupo township before linking onto the 21km course at the waterfront and completing to finish in the Tongaririo Domain.
The course will be close to 42.195km as humanly possible without having the course AIMS certified. We will use all of the following forms of measurement:
GPS - using two separate devices
Measuring wheel
Vehicle/bike odometers
