Rollercoaster Gravity Enduro State Series dates announced

Gravity enduro racing is the new kid on the block of mountain bike events and with its roots in the French Alps and North American high-country it has been gaining traction fast in Australia as well.

Rocky Trail Entertainment have created a flagship series in answer to this latest mountain bike racing trend and take riders to some of the most popular mountain bike trails in NSW. Their Rollercoaster gravity enduro races have become overwhelmingly popular with cross-country and downhill riders alike in recent months, united by their passion for exploring trails, racing exhilarating and fast descents and spending a great day out on their bikes together. So in a nutshell, this event combines neutral uphills with fast and flowy timed descents... all day long!

Rocky Trail has been know to putting new tracks on the map of Australian MTB racing and the Rollercoaster series will include two new venues with Glenworth Valley near Gosford on the Central Coast and Kempsey on the state's North Coast. The popular Ourimbah and Thredbo all-mountain trails complete the series.

The Rollercoaster Gravity Enduro NSW State Series - powered by FLOW Mountain Bike in 2014 - will kick off on the Australia Day weekend with Round 1 on Monday, 27th January at Ourimbah MTB Park near Wyong:

  • Round 1: 27 January, Ourimbah MTB Park, Wyong (NSW)
  • Champs: 12 April, Flow Trail, Thredbo (NSW)
  • Round 2: 29 June, Kempsey (NSW)
  • Round 3: 16 November, Glenworth Valley Adventure Park, Gosford West (NSW)

Online registration is now open at www.rockytrailentertainment.com - the rider limit for Round 1 at Ourimbah is 200 and there are still spots available.
